Women play an important role in the development of any society and at all levels. The rural women have got that potential to bring about economic change for their families. Even though Self Helf Groups are seen as the steps of development and encouraging women to step out of their routine and be a part of the developing world, it still has a long way to go.
Entrepreneurship Development is one of the major factor that will ensure true sustainable development. Women from the project areas of Social Centre are being directed and trained towards Entrepreneurship Development which will enhance their capacities. They will become the models for future change and development. It is envisaged that these women will take up enterprises that will provide their own economic stability and opportunities for employment in the rural sector.
